It is almost May, right?

I've been spending waaaaayyyy too much time working lately, and off hours have been spent tidying up a few loose ends with our new home. Today ws supposed to be spent with SWIMBO, doing nothing in particular --- perhaps taking a hike, having lunch outdoors downtown, or something fun. These views from my window sort of put the kibosh on that idea!

Actually, I'm glad this didn't happen yesterday, when we were taking one of the surglings on a college tour at the local left-wing university --- more on that later.
